Our Fleet Management System (FMS) is a fully-featured web-based application that integrates the lastest GPS technologies, GSM technologies and GIS location maps for remote tracking, monitoring and controlling vehicles that are mounted with ‘Black Boxes’ or ‘Automatic Vehicle Locator Units’ (AVLs).
It can be deployed within your organization itself or through subscription to our application service provider (ASP) model.
FMS allows you to monitor the status of the vehicle, track and trace a single or multiple vehicles in real-time, monitor vehicle route history, control the vehicle, receive alerts on exceptional occurrences like emergency or if the vehicle leaves or enters a pre-specified geo-fenced area or if the vehicle exceeds certain speed limit etc and generate management reports.

Reduce Operating Costs by Regulating Fuel Claims
Fuel claim manipulation by drivers has long been the nightmare and struggle of any logistics or transport-based operators. Our system provides the tool to operations managers to detect abnormalities and the possibility of a false fuel claim by comparing the data available in our system with the actual fuel claims. These information are made available by our system as a consequence of a formula calculation taking into consideration the vehicle type, estimated fuel consumption, fuel cost and the GPS odometer. More accurate means of calculation can be made available with a slight additional investment on measuring instruments such as flow meter and flood sensors which are able to feed information directly to our system.
Reduce Operating Costs by Regulating Toll Claims
False toll claims will probably be the second biggest headache transporters have to deal with after false fuel claims. Having noticed this, IGT has taken proactive steps in coming up with a counter measure. This feature is not available yet in our system but will be made available soon. Our customers will soon be able to produce a toll report which tells them exactly the time at which the vehicle passes the toll points as well as the amount of toll payable by that vehicle. The availability of these information will directly eliminate all attempt to cheat on toll claims (normally by claiming toll but actually using trunk roads resulting in both higher toll claims and higher diesel costs).
Increase Productivity with Enhanced Visibility
Improved visibility of fleet will caution drivers and vehicle operators to be more wary of their non-productive habits hence creating a boost in overall productivity as a result of improved discipline. Our system allows the user to produce management reports to analyse vehicle performance, driver behaviours, exceptional events etc. In short, “What gets measured, gets done”.
Increase Efficiency with Automated Processes
Geofences can be used to trigger alerts on specified parameters or on the occurrence of certain events and they are especially useful to give you information on vehicle arrival and departure time at a particular building, location or even area. This will also end all woes and issues of having to settle customer indifference as a result of non-punctual drivers.
Increase Safety and Security
All vehicles shall be installed with a panic button. The driver can press this button in cases of emergency or vehicle hijack to notify the command centre or his supervisor so that help can be sent. Additionally, vehicles can also be installed with immobiliser units enabling the command centre to immobilise the vehicle during such incidents. We are in the midst of taking security-enhancement one-step further by adding a hidden camera within the vehicle where the command centre can snap photographs of the vehicle’s interior from the software itself to have a first hand look at what is really happenning.
Eliminate Dangerous Driving Behaviours
Our system is able to capture information on overspeeding, harsh-breaking or even report events where seat belts are not worn. If needed, these information can be matched back not only to the vehicle but directly to the driver.
Increase Customer Satisfaction
Our system allows a full graphical playback of incidents or route taken by a specific vehcile at a particular point of time e.g. between 12.03pm on 20 August 2008 and 5.05pm on 21 August 2008. This will completely eliminate all forms of accusations pertaining to untimely delivery.

There has been many instances that we make slight customisations to our system to suit our customers’ environment. For example, we have added items like fuel sensors, flow meters, temperature sensors, RFID equipments, flood sensors, lid sensors, contact sensors, magnetic contact sensors, alarm, overide switches, telemetry equipments and much more to feed information to our AVLs so that the information can be sent back to the server for management reporting purposes (reactive approach) or even used to trigger on set events or parameters so that instant actions or corrective actions can be taken (proactive approach).
